Pastor Laura Heikes
Lead Pastor
Laura grew up in San Antonio and has studied at Texas A&M, Asbury Theological Seminary. and Wesley Seminary. Laura has served churches in San Angelo, New Braunfels, Spicewood, and even Kentucky (where she preached in Spanish!) before coming to McAllen as our Lead Pastor.
Laura is married to Kevin, a surgical nurse, and they three kids, Anna, Leah, and Asher. This is a family that loves the outdoors, so look for them hiking, swimming, or enjoying an outdoor pulga.
Laura’s style fits well with who we are as a church: warm, friendly, and invitational. Laura is passionate about preaching and teaching in ways that help us apply God’s word to our lives. We hope you join us soon. Come as you are- we are a faith family for all.
