"First Fruits" Thanksgiving Collection

It is time for this year's "First Fruits" Thanksgiving Collection!

Shop the list and bring your items to the church by Tuesday, November 12. You can find printed versions of the list, as well as bags for your "first fruits," in the Narthex at church.

We ask for the following specific items:

• 2 15oz cans of mixed vegetables
• 2 15.4oz cans of corn (whole kernel)
• 2 14.5oz cans of green beans (cut)
• 2 15.25oz cans of mixed fruit
• 24 or 32oz bottle of vegetable/canola oil
• 2 lb bag of sugar
• 2 lbg bag of flour (all-purpose)
• 7.9oz plastic jar (loose) of Knorr/Maggie Chicken Bouillon Granulated
• 2 lb bag of yellow corn meal

Then, join us Sunday, November 17, during the 10am Common Hour to assemble the Thanksgiving boxes with the food collected, plus fresh fruits and veggies, to distribute to less fortunate families in McAllen and the surrounding area.
