First Fruits Thanksgiving Collection

Our "First Fruits" Thanksgiving Collection starts this Sunday!

It's time for our annual sharing of "First Fruits" Thanksgiving Baskets with less fortunate families in McAllen and the surrounding area.

The list of SPECIFIC items to donate is below; please bring these items in by Tuesday, November 11! They can be dropped off during worship on Sundays or at the church office Mon-Thurs 8:30am-4:30pm.

• 2 15-oz cans of mixed vegetables
• 2 14.5-oz cans of green beans (cut)
• 24 oz bottle of vegetable/canola oil
• 2 lb bag of sugar
• 2 lb bag of all-purpose flour

Each year we give a gift card with the baskets so families can purchase their preferred meat for their meal. This year, we will give a $10 gift card in each basket. If you would like to give toward this gift, you can do so by check (memo: "Thanksgiving Baskets") or online (click here).

Perishable food items and more will be purchased and included with ministry funds. If you have specific non-perishable items such as fruit or vegetables to contribute, please call Susan Hellums at the church office (956-686-3784) or through email (shellums@mcfirst.com).
